American Juggalo, Interview ft. Sean Pollock

“To me it is really a community that is built on survivorship: these people have encountered some really heavy stuff in their lives. Their release is this music, this really hyperviolent music where they dress up as clowns. Who is to deny them of that? “

Our House Is Falling Apart, But It’s Ok. So Are We.

I’m not sure if it is just us, but 2018 was a bit of a hellfire. We were unhappy in our work lives, we had our hearts broken by boys, and dealt very poorly with our mental health. We moved to this house because we didn’t quite know where else to go, and thank god we did.

Nostalgia

I tried capturing the feeling of nostalgia which is imagined in this poem by a number of different things brought together in the same instance.

Bound by Choice

We feel so bound, by invisible chains of choice,

Choices to resent and choices to rejoice,

Choices that shape the timeline of our being,

Giving sound to reason and courage a voice.
